Whether your speakers need new foam surrounds, driver replacement, crossover repair, or general diagnostic, I can help bring them back to life while preserving their original character whenever practical.
All refoaming includes removal of old foam, glue, cleaning, plus attaching new foams.
Does not include speaker removal from enclosure.

I diagnose and repair vintage stereo receivers and amplifiers, including power supply, tone controls, output stages, etc. I also perform preventative maintenance and reliability updates where appropriate.
Please note this is different than the bench fee.

Due to the many different models, receiver repairs are covered under a blanket per hour labor charge. This is for capacitor replacement, transistors, and essentially any electrical repair.
I log the time, include all details on your paperwork, and a time estimate will be provided before work is done.
Cassette decks, reel-to-reel machines, equalizers, CD players, and other vintage audio equipment may also be accepted depending on serviceability and parts availability. If you're unsure whether your equipment can be repaired, simply contact me. I'll be happy to discuss your options before any work begins.
