Whether your speakers need new foam surrounds, driver replacement, crossover repair, or general diagnostic, I can help bring them back to life while preserving their original character whenever practical.
All refoaming includes removal of old foam, glue, cleaning, plus attaching new foams.
Pricing assumes the driver is already removed from the enclosure. Driver removal and reinstallation are billed at the standard $90/hr labor rate, with a 30-minute minimum.

I diagnose and repair vintage stereo receivers and amplifiers, including power supply, tone controls, output stages, etc. I also perform preventative maintenance and reliability updates where appropriate.
Please note this is different than the bench fee.
This covers diagnostic for unknown issues.
This is not waived. This fee covers diagnosis and troubleshooting of an unknown problem. It is charged whether or not you proceed with repairs.
Scratchy or intermittent controls? This service includes cleaning and servicing of applicable switches, potentiometers, and controls.
Due to the wide variety of designs and repair requirements, receiver and amplifier repairs are billed at $90/hr. Labor time is documented and included on your service paperwork. Before repair work begins, you'll receive an estimate based on the initial diagnosis.
Cassette decks, reel-to-reel machines, equalizers, CD players, and other vintage audio equipment may also be serviced depending on serviceability and parts availability.
